Fillings Without Anesthesia
We use specific dental lasers that allow us to perform drill-free and needle-free dental fillings. This small laser tip enables Dr. Villa to remove decaying tooth enamel, resulting in improved comfort and minimally invasive restorations. As a result, we can preserve the greatest amount of healthy tooth structure while avoiding the use of numbing medication.
Laser fillings are most effective in small areas of decay. By scheduling regular six-month checkups, we can catch active cavities as soon as they appear, before they spread into neighboring tooth structures.
Lip and Tongue Tie Treatment
People of all ages can be affected by tongue ties or lip ties. In addition to infant tongue and lip-tie correction, we offer frenulum releases for both teens and adults.
Frenums/frenulums are the tight strips of tissue that attach to the gums just behind the lip. There's also one beneath the tongue. Lip or tongue movement can be restricted if the base of your frenulum is too high or too tight. As a result, you may have difficulty speaking or eating, which can have an impact on your confidence and self-esteem.
We can use the soft tissue laser to gently and quickly reverse tongue and lip ties in a single short appointment. No invasive surgeries are required. Soft tissue laser therapy softly reshapes and relaxes the frenulum with very little swelling or bleeding, resulting in shorter recovery times and improved client comfort.
