Dr Rosemary Villa specializes in preventative and restorative care for patients with autism, cerebral palsy, and other special needs especially in children.
Not living far from the practice, Dr Villa calls the Fox Valley home.
Dr. Rosemary Villa studied Biology with an emphasis in chemistry at Lake Forest College in Lake Forest, Illinois. In college, she was on the swim team, a researcher in the biology department, and a volunteer in college-based & community service activities.
Dr. Rosemary Villa attended the top-ranked Northwestern University Dental School in Chicago, Illinois. She then attended and later taught at Cook County Hospital Residency Program, one of the most highly regarded residency programs in the country.
Through the rigorous residency, Dr Villa discovered her calling in treating those with the special needs especially children.
Throughout her 30 plus year career, she continues in the field of Special Needs dentistry and advocates for access to care for those with intellectual & developmental challenges and medical limitations.
Dr. Villa is a member of the American Dental Society, Illinois Dental Society, Special Care Dentistry Association as well as other academies and societies. Dr Villa lectures when time permits and has mentored students as an Adjunct Professor of both Midwestern and the University of Illinois at Chicago dental schools. Dr Rosemary Villa has been featured in articles and is the recipient of esteemed awards recognizing her professional achievements. She has a Mastership in Academy of General Dentistry and Fellowship to International College of Dentistry, The Academy of Dentistry International, and the Pierre Fauchard Academy placing Dr Rosemary Villa among the top 5%.
Dr. Villa enjoys reading, playing golf, strength training, and motorcycling with her husband.
